Reflections, an experimental Ubisoft studio most famous for Grow Home and Grow Up, has now released a rather intriguing retro arena-shooter onto Steam. Instead of simply blowing a hole through your enemies and calling it a day, in Atomega you will need to constantly collect matter and energy which lets you transform into larger and more powerful forms, culminating with the nearly godlike Omega.

The concept is a little bit strange, so allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer. Its fairly brief, but it should give you a pretty damn good idea of just what Atomega is all about. Have a look:

While the reviews are mostly positive, it is important to note that Atomega is an indie multiplayer-only game, so there is no guarantee it will have a stable playerbase in the future. The price is fairly low at €10 so its not that big of a risk, but its definitely something you should consider before opening your wallet.
