In order to entice people to check out their store, Epic Games have announced that they will be giving out a free game every two weeks, all throughout 2019. The current offer, as you might guess from the title alone, is the excellent action-RPG Transistor from the developers behind Bastion, Pyre and the upcoming Hades.
All you need to do in order to grab yourself a copy of Transistor is to log into the Epic Games Store, go through the 'purchasing' process, and you'll be able to play it whenever you want. The only thing you need to watch out for is the cutoff date, May 2nd, as that's when Transistor will be going back to its normal price tag, while a brand new game will rise up to take its place.
If you're wondering what exactly Transistor has to offer, as well as just how smooth the narrator is compared to the Bastion one, allow me to share with you the original launch trailer. Have a gander:
Personally, I'd highly recommend you check out Transistor. It might not be my favorite out of the bunch, but Supergiant Games really do know how to create stylish games, both in terms of presentation and the gameplay itself! So if you like Bastion, or if you're a fan of action-focused adventures in general, I'd say Transistor is well worth checking out. This goes doubly so when you consider it's currently entirely free!
You can learn more about Transistor, as well as grab yourself a copy, over at the Epic Games Store. Have fun!
