OlliOlli World, much like the rest of the series, is a challenging skateboarding platformer that will have you grind across, fly over and slam directly into all sorts of colorful locations. Where OlliOlli World differs greatly from its predecessors, however, is in the visuals and the atmosphere!
The world of Radlandia is an incredibly vibrant and bizarre place filled with banana-men, oversized frog-monsters, sentient piles of trash, and even walking trees that happen to have a penchant for skateboarding. Since words alone can't really do OlliOlli World's setting justice, allow me to share with you one of the gameplay overview trailers. Have a peek:
Given that the charming visuals and ridiculous premise might paint OlliOlli World as a relaxing, 'chill out' kind of experience, it's important to mention that at it's core it's still a highly technical action-platformer. So while the difficulty doesn't ramp up as quickly as in the previous game, you're still going to need to put in a fair bit of effort in order to experience everything OlliOlli World has to offer. That is by no means a flaw, though it's one of those things that is best you fully internalize before you dive in head-first into something you might not actually enjoy.
Whatever the case may be, you can learn more about OlliOlli World, as well as check out some of the player reviews, over at Steam. Have fun!
