After two expansions and many years of updates, the Crypt of the NecroDancer team is now finally moving onto a brand new game. They're not going all that far, however, as the recently announced Rift of the NecroDancer will still be all about the music!
Instead of delving through dungeons and smashing spooky skeletons to the beat of the soundtrack, Rift of the NecroDancer will task you with saving the world through rhythm game style battles, lengthy boss fights and goofy mini games. Speaking of which, you can get a little bit of a sneak peek at what Rift of the NecroDancer is all about through the reveal trailer below. Have a gander:
No release date has been given just yet, not even an estimate, so I'd recommend against getting too excited right now because we might be in for a lengthy wait. As for the release platforms, Rift of the NecroDancer has so far been confirmed for PC.
