If you long for the 3D RPGs of yore, you might want to keep an eye on the upcoming Dread Delusion. To put it quite simply, it's a retro 3D open world RPG that's all about picking a direction and seeing what there is to see in the moody yet surprisingly colorful world.

Along the way you fight hordes of bizarre enemies with a variety of blades and spells, level up skills that can help make life easier in and out of combat, as well as chat up the locals in order to see if there's anything you can do about the whole "the sky is literally burning" problem. As for the release date, I'm afraid nothing has been announced just yet. That said, the brief description does list Dread Delusion as "coming soon", so with a bit of luck we might even see it arrive at some point this Summer.
