If you're up for something a bit out of the ordinary, you might want to check out the upcoming Feudal Alloy. Not only is it a hand drawn action-adventure set in medieval times where pretty much everyone seems to have a battle-ready mech, but all of the killer robots are controlled by tiny fish!
Since this is one of those things you have to see in order to fully comprehend, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer. Have a gander, it's certainly an unusual combination:
As far as the actual gameplay is concerned, Feudal Alloy is all about exploring a large, interconnected world and beating up enemies with a wide assortment of weapons and gadgets. You can also expect to see plenty of bosses, numerous collectibles stashed in secret areas, and naturally, boatloads of loot to help customize your fish-powered mechs. A fairly standard set of mechanics (if you ignore all of the craziness anyway), but as long as the combat and exploration are done well, they are mechanics that should make for a rather fun experience.
Feudal Alloy will be coming this January 17th for PC and the Nintendo Switch, while the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will be arriving in the near future. You can learn more about it, as well as follow any further announcements, by heading over to either Steam or the official website.
