Othercide official artwork and logo showing off the stylish art style

If you're in a bit of a turn-based strategy kind of mood, you might want to check out the newly released Othercide. Besides sporting a lovely horror themed aesthetic where monochrome backgrounds clash with bloody-red highlights, Othercide is a highly dynamic turn-based strategy with some roguelike elements thrown in for good measure.

You'll need to plan out elaborate combos and execute a whole chain of attacks in order to take down your enemies, grow and eventually sacrifice your very own characters in order to heal the next generation, and naturally, try to figure out just what in the world is happening with the story. And should you ever find yourself failing, worry not as this is where Othercide's roguelike qualities come into play. Every death will make you slightly stronger, so long as you persevere, you'll eventually have what it takes to challenge everything Othercide can possibly throw at you.

As for what exactly all of this looks like in action, as well as what sort of atmosphere Othercide is even going for, that you can find out through the freshly posted launch trailer. Have a peek:

You can learn more about Othercide, as well as potentially grab yourself a copy, by hopping over to Steam. Enjoy!
