The Planet Crafter official artwork and logo

As the name might suggest, The Planet Crafter is a large-scale survival game that will task you with terraforming an entire planet on your own! In order to do so you'll need to gather resources and craft advanced tools, build complex machines to create a breathable atmosphere and drinkable water, deal with all sorts of natural disasters like meteor showers, and ideally manage all of that without starving to death on a hostile planet.

If you're curious what all of this looks like in action, as well as how much you can truly change the planet itself, you'll find your answers in the brief trailer below. Have a peek:

Before you get too excited, it's worth mentioning that The Planet Crafter has only just entered Early Access and will most likely need between one or two years to be truly finished. So if you're looking for a fully polished experience that's brimming with content, you might want to give The Planet Craft a bit more time.

On the other hand, if you want to dive in early and potentially help guide development moving forward, I'm happy to say that The Planet Crafter has a free demo available. So before you make any kind of decision, I'd highly recommend you give the demo a try as it's a surprisingly lengthy one!

You can do so, as well as learn more about The Planet Crafter's current state, over at Steam. Have fun!
