[Update #2]: Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth has now been released from Steam Early Access and, unsurprisingly, it's pretty fun.

[Update]: Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is releasing from Steam Early Access on March 27th.

While the name may be way too long and unwieldy, Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is a faithful homage to one of the most popular Castlevania games - Symphony of the Night. Much like its inspiration, Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth will have you explore a large and highly interconnected world, collect new abilities that are useful both in combat and outside of it, and naturally, face off against a variety of monsters and bosses.

If you're curious just how close Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is to Symphony of the Night, as well as what the actual moment-to-moment gameplay is like, you can find your answers in the recently posted trailer down below. Have a peek:

Before you make up your mind on whether to grab it or not, it's well worth mentioning that Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth has only just entered Steam Early Access. Things are already pretty good when it comes to the actual gameplay and visuals, but as you might imagine, Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is still nowhere near finished. So if you're looking for a fully-fledged Metroidvania experience, you might want to wishlist it and come back in a couple of months once more areas have been completed.

You can learn more about Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth, as well as follow any future updates, over at Steam. Have fun!
