After spending nearly two years in Early Access, the rogue-lite action-adventure Rogue Legacy 2 has now finally been unleashed alongside a chunky update. Version 1.0 brings with it a couple of new bosses to fight against, two new character classes to send to their doom, a significant overhaul and rebalance of existing content, and naturally, an actual ending!

I haven't played it myself just yet so take the following with a few grains of salt, but so far the Steam reviews seem to be painting a rather pretty picture. There's the occasional complaint about the game being overly grindy, though besides that it really does look like Rogue Legacy 2 is a greatly improved and polished up version of the original. So if you're looking for a rogue-lite to really sink a lot of time into, this might just be the one!
