Official artwork and logo for the game Sable

In sharp contrast to the numerous action-adventures that task you with hacking and slashing your way through hordes of enemies, the freshly released Sable is all about exploring the world and soaking in the atmosphere. Instead of battles Sable will offer you a chance to customize and upgrade your hover bike, solve a bunch of puzzles and secrets, help an assortment of people you meet along the way, and naturally, try to figure out just what in the world happened to... well, the world!

Since the visuals and atmosphere are Sable's biggest draws, allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer. It should give you a pretty good idea of the sort of direction Sable has gone in. Have a look:

I haven't played it myself, but judging by the reviews it seems that Sable is a pretty solid exploration game that's currently struggling with some performance issues. So unless you're extremely eager to dive in, it's probably a good idea to give the developers a couple of weeks to fix all of the major issues before actually starting a playthrough.

You can keep an eye on any updates, as well as read some of the user reviews, over at Steam. Enjoy!
