Sword Legacy: Omen is a challenging tactical RPG set in the world of Broken Britannia, a realm where technology and magic are heavily intertwined. You and your fellow heroes will have to embark on a lengthy journey to find and retrieve the long-lost legendary sword Excalibur. What this means in gameplay terms is that you will have a variety of environments to explore, numerous characters to interact with and potentially recruit, and naturally, hordes upon hordes of enemies to fight through turn-based combat most similar to Final Fantasy Tactics'.
While Sword Legacy: Omen is still nowhere near release, you can get a brief glimpse at what all of this looks like in-game through the recently posted trailer. Have a look, its quite an interesting art style:
There will be eight different companions in total, each of which comes with their own unique playstyle, abilities, and weaknesses. In order to survive you will have to create complementary teams and perform powerful combos, as anything else is probably going to result in you getting overrun by your numerically superior enemies. As a concept this is a fairly good one, especially since there are eight different classes to choose from, so here's to hoping Sword Legacy: Omen will actually manage to have all of them be relatively balanced while still powerful in their own way.
If you would like to learn a little bit more about it, or just check out what each of the eight heroes is all about, you should head over to the official website. As for the release date, you can expect to see Sword Legacy: Omen at some point in 2018 on PC, though I'm afraid no exact date has been given just yet.
