Fe is an action-adventure set admits a rather beautiful, albeit slightly psychedelic, Nordic forest full of lively critters and mysterious dangers. As you might expect from the genre, you will be spending most of your time running, jumping and gliding from location to location, though Fe does distinguish itself from the rest by giving you the ability to use songs in order to convince your fellow creatures to help you out.
Since most of Fe's focus is on the presentation and atmosphere, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer. It's not a very long video, but it'll give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from Fe and its world. Have a look:
I haven't played it myself so I can't give you any personal opinions, but I can tell you that the reviews are currently mixed but generally positive. Unsurprisingly, the atmosphere and art direction are consistently excellent from the very start to the very end, though unfortunately the gameplay itself leaves a lot to be desired. It's not that it's bad or downright unplayable, but rather than it's just simply uninspired which clashes heavily with the impressive visuals and atmosphere. Whether that is going to be a deal-breaker or not, that is going to be up to you to decide.
You can learn more about Fe, or just grab yourself a copy, by visiting either the official website or Origin. And finally, here's the rather lengthy gameplay preview from last year's PSX, just to give you a better idea of what Fe is all about. Enjoy!
