[Update]: If you're in the mood for more vampire themed RPGs, then you might also want to check out the newly announced Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong.
Much like its predecessor, Coteries of New York, the newly announced Shadows of New York will be a visual novel set in the rather fascinating Vampire: The Masquerade universe. It'll act as a standalone expansion to Coteries of New York, and while there will be reoccurring characters, you'll be able to fully enjoy it without any former knowledge.
As for the story, you will play as a member of the Lasombra clan that's tasked with investigating the murder of New York's Anarch leader. Needless to say, the whole thing is a trap and absolutely riddled with vampire politics, so weaving your way through all of the madness and staying alive will be just as important as figuring out who the killer is.
I've yet to play the previous Coteries of New York myself, but from what I've read it seems to have nailed the atmosphere and tone of Vampire: The Masquerade, so chances are Shadows of New York will be pretty solid as well. That said, I do hope it'll manage to avoid some of the pacing problems I've seen reported time and time again, especially towards the end-game as apparently the final chapter in Coteries of New York moves at a downright breakneck pace.
Whatever the case may be, Shadows of New York will launch simultaneously for PC (Windows, macOS and Linux), PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch at some point in 2020. You can learn more about it, as well as follow any future updates, over at Steam.
