Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf, a turn-based tactics game with numerous RPG and card game elements, is set to arrive this February 16th to Steam Early Access. While originally made for mobile phones, Space Wolf will launch on PC with improved graphics, numerous balance changes, a redesigned UI, and greatly reworked weaponry.

If you're wondering what this might look like in terms of gameplay, here's one of the original trailers for the mobile version. Its a bit outdated by this point, and most definitely graphically inferior, but it should at least give you an idea of what the gameplay is like. Have a look:

And if you're wondering why its being released on Steam Early Access despite being available on mobile phones for well over a year, the main reason is balance and overall polish. The balance part is especially important since I assume this version won't contain any microtransactions (this is implied, but never explicitly confirmed), and as such will need to be rebalanced from the ground up in order to account for all of the extra weaponry and armor. While the full release date has not been announced just yet, according to the Steam page it is most likely going to be later next year, so expect to see Space Wolf spend quite a few months in Early Access in order to iron out these issues.

As for whether its going to be worth your time and money, that I have absolutely no idea given how mobile ports can either be either amazing, or amazingly terrible. Given that turn-based strategy is one of the easier genres to port between the platforms, here's to hoping Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf will firmly belong to the former category. And as a final note, here's a couple of images from the PC version:
