I found myself turned off from puzzle-adventures ever since Myst wracked my brain with puzzles designed to be as obtuse and confusing as possible, usually because they ran on moon-logic understood only to the Kobolds of Ghorblak 5.
However, after playing Samorost 3 for a couple of hours I could feel that childlike wonder and glee return to me in full force as I explored strange new worlds inhabited by space turtles, singing lizards and flying mangoes. While I'm not yet ready to do a full review, I want to bring Samorost 3 to your attention, starting with its trailer:

I've had the chance to review Sorcery! Parts 1 & 2 about two months ago, and I'm incredibly glad I decided to do so because what I found was a faithful adaptation of a choose-your-own-adventure gamebook, complete with the myriad of gruesome, yet hilarious ways to die.
Unfortunately for me, only the first two parts of the quadrilogy were available on PC back then, so I had to endure the grueling torture of a cliffhanger for two overly long months. The eternal wait is soon over, however, as Part 3 of Sorcery! has been set to arrive on April 5th. Here's the trailer giving you a glimpse of all of the areas you'll be able to meet an untimely end at:

Solstice is a mystery thriller that asks you a rather difficult question: if stuck in a dystopian world, would you prefer to stay silent and safe, or take the hard road to freedom?
Its being made by MoaCube, the developers behind the well written and quite endearing Cinders, and since the release date for Solstice is only two days off I would like to bring it to your attention, starting with the trailer:

The Count Lucanor is a charming pixel adventure that takes place in a equally lovely fantasy land, but as it so often happens, darkness lurks beneath the seemingly perfect veneer and soon enough you will get roped in to a mystery of the most horrific kind.
It released a couple of weeks ago, on March 3rd to be exact, with some great reviews backing it up, but has unfortunately somehow escaped the public's eye. So allow me to showcase you The Count Lucanor, starting with the trailer:

Skullstone is a 3D grid-based dungeon crawler where you, and your enemies, hop along the dungeon floor and attempt to obliterate each other through the use of weapons, magic, and deadly traps, all the while resisting the urge to succumb to the most unholy of temptations, moving diagonally.
Its currently still in development so expect to see some placeholder art, but the brief gameplay video the developers posted oozes that old school RPG charm that first drew me to the genre. Have a look, and skip to 55 seconds if you want to get to the gameplay directly:

Mages of Mystralia, besides being nigh impossible to google unless you're interested in Australian landscapes, is a charming action adventure that allows you to craft your very own spells in order to overcome enemies and puzzles alike.
It was announced a mere few days ago with a rather fetching trailer which I would like to share with you, along with some more information on what exactly Mages of Mystralia really is:

Deadbolt is an extremely challenging stealth-action hybrid that comes to us from the developers of the amazing Risk of Rain, and much like RoR it features satisfying action, pixely graphics and a whole lot of enemies to overcome.
After being announced only two months ago Deadbolt is now available on Steam, and the reception has been rather positive so far. Here's the trailer and a bit more info:

The Descendant is a narrative driven adventure game, in the vein of Telltale's various series, that let's you experience the world after an eco-apocalypse has ravaged the landscape and forced the remnants of humanity to seek shelter in underground Ark facilities.
Here's a video showcasing the first 10 minutes of The Descendant which are mostly focused on exposition and character building, with a bit of gameplay near the end (around 7 minutes):

Book of Demons is an upcoming indie ARPG, seemingly inspired by Diablo, and presented in a lovely paper-craft aesthetic, one of the rare few games on PC to adopt such a style.
Much like Diablo, Book of Demons asks of you to venture deep beneath the city, through randomly generated catacombs and caverns, in order to reach hell itself and bring righteous fury against the cardboard devil. Here's the trailer which comes in the form of a poem, and a bit more information:

[Update]: Legion TD 2 will be launching from Steam Early Access on October 1, 2021.
This is shaping up to be a great month for fans of Warcraft 3 custom maps as Element TD was recently ported over to Dota 2, and the equally popular Legion TD is now getting a standalone sequel.
Legion TD 2 is a multiplayer, free-to-play tower defense game that combines all of the elements thousands, if not millions, have come to love with the original, but without any of the restraints of the now ancient Warcraft 3 engine. Here's the brief trailer and some more information:
