Tiny Tina's Wonderlands artwork and logo

[Update #2]: Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has now been unleashed, and so far it's looking quite solid.

[Update]: Lengthy pre-launch preview for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands shows off some awesome locations and a bunch of bullet-spongy enemies.

If you've enjoyed the recently released standalone version of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, you'll be happy to hear that Gearbox will soon be releasing an entire spin-off game that's just like it - Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. As the name would imply, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will have you wonder across an absurd fantasy world smashing hordes of enemies and looting literally everything that isn't nailed down particularly well.

Along the way you'll be able to build up your character by mixing and matching talents from six different classes, upgrading your stats using "hero points", finding secret treasures on the overworld between quests, and naturally, equipping yourself with a vast array of procedurally generated weapons. The whole thing is pretty much Borderlands with a couple of twists, so if played any of the games in the series, odds are Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will be nice and familiar as well.

What all of this nonsense looks like in actual gameplay, that you can see through two of the recently posted trailers. The first one shows off two of the character classes in action, while the second one is the more generic and unfocused gameplay trailer. Have a gander:

As for the release date, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will be heading over to PC, Xbox and PlayStation on March 25, 2022. You can learn a little bit more about it, as well as keep an eye on future previews, over at the official website. Enjoy!
