Gaben as the prophet of sales

If you currently have a bit of free time and some extra money, and you wish to quickly change that situation, you'll be glad to hear that the massive Steam Summer Sale is just around the corner. To be more specific, it's set to begin tomorrow, on June 21st!

This information comes to us from Steam Database on Twitter, meaning that it hasn't been officially confirmed just yet. That said, last year's Summer Sale started on June 21st and we've already had multiple leaks pointing towards June 21st being the date for this year's sale as well, so I do believe that this 'rumor' is about as credible as it can possibly be.

While you wait for sale to start, there are a couple of currently ongoing deals you might want to check out. First and foremost, Quake Champions is entirely free to grab until June 25th, so if you're up for some oldschool arena shooter action it's well worth giving it a look. The second and final deal I feel is worth highlighting is the Life is Strange sale. You can get both the original Life is Strange and its prequel Before the Storm at a fairly discounted price, so if adventure games are your thing I would definitely recommend giving them a shot.

Once the sale goes live I'll make sure to let you know, though you should also keep an eye on Steam just in case the sale goes live earlier than usual.
