[Update]: Steam's chunky JRPG sale has just arrived and will stick around until March 21st, 2022.

If you've somehow managed to go through the massive onslaught of sales over the past month with some pocket money still left intact, you might be happy (or potentially worried) to hear that Steam's big Lunar New Year sale has now arrived. While the sale sadly doesn't bring with it any tiger-themed gimmicks, there's at least a huge list of games at equally huge discounts!

The whole thing will last until February 3rd, so if you have any favorites you were eying up, you might want to get on that before it's too late. If you don't know what to grab, however, allow me to give you some ideas. All of these are games I've greatly enjoyed over the years, so if you're into the genre they should treat you well. Here they are, in no particular order:

As always, this is just the very tip of the iceberg, so I fully encourage you to give the sale a closer look yourself. Skip past the super-popular stuff and focus on the quality indie games and older classics, as those will give you hours and hours of entertainment at a fairly small price tag.
