It's only been a short while since The War Within expansion launched, and already Blizzard is getting ready to unleash a whole bunch of new content to play around with. Best of all, this new content will tie in with the game's 20th anniversary and thus bring with it a wide assortment of cool cosmetics to collect.

First and foremost, the iconic Tier 2 sets from WoW Classic will be getting updated versions that you can acquire through the new Bronze Celebration Tokens. And if you're like me and you're playing one of the classes that didn't exist back in the day, worry not as Blizzard has also created entirely new Tier 2 inspired sets so no class misses out on the fun.

Cosmetics aside, the most exciting part of the 20th Anniversary update is definitely the Blackrock Depths raid. This was once, and probably still is, the biggest and most intricate dungeon in all of World of Warcraft. I remember runs through even portions of it taking literal hours back in the day, partly because everyone kept getting lost and partly because we were all quite bad at the game, but even so it was one hell of an adventure! So if Blizzard can recapture even a portion of Blackrock Depths' majesty in this new raid, I'm going to be a very, very happy man!

In slightly less exciting though still notable news, you can also look forward to a Timewalking event centered around Classic dungeons, a variety of assorted cosmetics and mounts, a new adventure with Chromie, extra fights against popular world bosses like the Sha of Anger, as well as a throwback version of Alterac Valley for those of you that enjoy the concept of an eternal war.
