After the disaster that Warlords of Draenor was I really didn't expect that I could be intrigued by a WoW trailer, yet here we are. And unlike the Warcraft movie trailer I have very few complaints with this one.
The trailer, despite how amazing it was, served simply as an intro for the massive amount of WoW related news that followed the most important of which I will try and outline for you here.

A Witcher Movie Is Being Made!

Very rarely does a piece of news bring excitement to my cold, shriveled heart but the announcement of a Witcher movie is an exception.
It was announced in a press release that SDC Works (most famous for the Mummy series) is teaming up with Tomek Baginski, a Polish director who you might know from his work on the Witcher cinematics as well as the short film "The Cathedral" to make a full-length feature film based on the Witcher series of books.
Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition Is Now Available

Ah Darksiders 2, what a glorious game you could've been if you simply had more time. Alas with THQ being on the verge of bankruptcy Vigil Games had to launch the game as soon as possible.
The result was a stylish game mired in padding, excessive amount of pointless loot and an almost nonexistent difficulty curve. In the end THQ went bankrupt, the series sold to Nordic Games and very little was heard from it since.
Until recently. It appears that Nordic Games thought similarly of the series as I did because today they've released Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition which hopes to fix the errors of the past.
Review - The Binding Of Isaac: Afterbirth

- in Reviews
Turns out I was right. Back in my Afterbirth release article I mentioned how even after a few hours I could confidently say that this is an excellent piece of DLC, and now, some 20 hours of play later I can even more confidently restate that.
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth is in my eyes the best kind of expansion/DLC, it adds new features and improvements to the base game without ruining what made the base game good. Every aspect of gameplay has received some improvement, from simple things such as new items, room layouts and enemies which shake up the usual flow of a run to more obvious additions like the new greed mode and daily challenges.
This does however mean that if you did not like The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth then Afterbirth won't be changing your mind any time soon, but for the rest of us this is one solid expansion.
Activision Just Bought Candy Crush Maker King For $5.9 BILLION

In a press release today Activision announced that they are aquiring the mobile phone app maker King, most famous for Candy Crush Saga and Candy Crush Soda Saga, for a whopping $5.9 billion.
Yes, you read that right, they bough them for almost 6 BILLION dollars. And I'm betting you thought you spent too much money on free to play games.
Just to put things in to perspective, when Disney bought Star Wars they "only" paid $4 billion, so this acquisition shows that Activision has high hopes for the mobile gaming market. And its easy to see why, according to the same press release King had an adjusted profit of $2.1 billion during the last twelve months.
Bad News: Arkham Knight PC Port Still A Mess
- By Ash
- in News
It would appear my optimism in the previous article was unwarranted as the re-release of Arkham Knight is gathering many of the same complaints that got it pulled from Steam in the first place.
The one ray of sunshine in all of this is the fact that WB are offering a full refund for both the game and the season pass no matter how many hours you put in to it. This offer will be valid until the end of 2015.
