Dungeons of Aether indie roguelike spin-off official artwork and logo

Set in the same universe as the platform fighter Rivals of Aether and its upcoming sequel, Dungeons of Aether is a roguelite dungeon crawler that will have you explore the world and battle hordes of enemies as one of four unique characters. Each one brings with them their own special skills, playstyle and storyline, so messing around with all of them is going to be highly encouraged, and hopefully highly entertaining as well.

If all of that sounds like it's right up your alley, I'm afraid I have a bit of bad news to deliver. Instead of launching this October 25th as previously announced, Dungeons of Aether has now been pushed back to February 28th, 2023.

While no exact reason for the delay has been given, the developers did at least share a small bit of new gameplay footage. So if you're curious what Dungeons of Aether looks like in action, you can get a little sneak peek through the trailer below:

Once Dungeons of Aether arrives, or we get another big announcement, I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, you can learn a little bit more about Dungeons of Aether and its characters over at Steam. Enjoy!
