Outcast 2 - A New Beginning official key art for the upcoming action-adventure

Continuing on with their long streak of bringing back cult classic games from yesteryear, THQ Nordic has now announced that the 1999 action-adventure Outcast is getting a brand new sequel! Outcast 2 - A New Beginning will give you the opportunity to explore a giant open world with the help of a fancy jetpack, customize your weaponry in a variety of different ways in order to take down hordes of robotic invaders, as well as slowly but surely unravel the secrets of Outcast's mysterious world.

Instead of a simple teaser like they did for the new South Park game, Outcast 2 has been announced alongside a decently lengthy gameplay trailer. So if you're curious what two decades of technological advancements can do for a series, here's the answer:

No exact release date has been announced just yet, though the brief blurb on Steam does say it'll be "coming soon." As for the release platforms, Outcast 2 will be launching for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
